The Integrated Wellbeing Hub (IWH) offers comprehensive, client-centered addiction services designed to support individuals on their journey to recovery. Our multidisciplinary team provides evidence-based interventions tailored to meet individual needs, ensuring safe and effective care in a supportive environment.
Key Services Provided:
1. Alcohol Withdrawal Management (‘Detox’):
- omprehensive care for individuals undergoing alcohol withdrawal, including face-to-face and telehealth consultations.
- Personalised plans to ensure safe detoxification with ongoing monitoring and support.
2. Opioid Treatment Program:
- Initiation and maintenance of opioid substitution therapy using Methadone or Buprenorphine.
- Regular follow-ups to monitor progress and adjust treatment as needed.
3. Fitness-to-Drive Specialist Assessments:
- Expert assessments to determine an individual’s fitness to drive, particularly
in relation to substance use and recovery status. - Guidance and documentation tailored to meet legal and licensing requirements.
4. Relapse Prevention Therapy:
- Individual and group therapy sessions focused on building resilience and preventing relapse.
- Tools and strategies to maintain long-term recovery and cope with triggers.
5. Management of Other Substance Use Disorders:
- Personalised treatment plans for disorders related to cannabis, benzodiazepines, and other substances.
- Holistic support to address the physical, psychological, and social aspects of recovery.

Assigned Specialists
Dr. Datta is an Australian-trained Addiction Medicine Specialist and a Fellow of the Chapter of Addiction Medicine (Royal Australasian College of Physicians). With over a decade of experience in the UK and Australia, he offers a holistic approach to addiction treatment, supported by a multidisciplinary team of psychologists. His expertise includes the Opioid Treatment Program (Methadone/Buprenorphine), alcohol withdrawal management (‘home detox’), and fitness-to-drive specialist assessments. Dr. Datta is also a Clinical Senior Lecturer at the University of Sydney and a passionate educator, mentoring future specialists through the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.
Dr. Mihir Roy
Dr. Mihir Roy is a dedicated General Practitioner with over a decade of experience in addictionrelated healthcare. He fosters a non-judgmental, confidential environment to address patients’ concerns with sensitivity and professionalism. Dr. Roy also serves as a mentor and educator through The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and the University of Sydney, reflecting his commitment to supporting both patients and the broader medical community.
